Information we collect
Information you provide
If you submit an enquiry through the contact form, we collect the information you enter in it. That is your name, your email address, the category of enquiry, a subject line and the content of your message. You may optionally provide a company name. We do not require any other information in order to respond to an enquiry.
Information collected automatically
Our servers record technical information about requests made to this website. This may include the internet protocol address of the device making the request, the date and time of the request, the address requested, the referring address where one is supplied, and the browser and operating system reported by the device. This information is generated by the operation of the web server and is not linked by us to a named individual.
Information we do not collect
We do not operate advertising technology on this website. We do not use third party analytics or behavioural tracking services. We do not buy personal information from data brokers, and we do not build marketing profiles of visitors.
How we use information
We use personal information for the following purposes only:
- To read, assess and respond to enquiries sent to us.
- To operate, secure and maintain this website, including diagnosing faults and identifying misuse.
- To comply with legal obligations to which we are subject, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not use the information you send us for marketing unless you have separately asked us to contact you for that purpose. We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Legal bases for processing
Where the General Data Protection Regulation or a comparable law applies to our processing, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interests
- Responding to enquiries addressed to us, and keeping this website secure and functioning correctly.
- Consent
- Any processing you have specifically agreed to. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, and withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.
- Legal obligation
- Retaining or disclosing information where we are required to do so by applicable law.
Disclosure of information
We disclose personal information only in the following circumstances:
- To service providers that host or support this website and its supporting systems, acting on our instructions and bound to protect the information.
- To professional advisers, including lawyers and auditors, where necessary and subject to a duty of confidence.
- Where we are required to do so by applicable law, by a court, or by a competent regulatory or governmental authority.
- In connection with a reorganisation, merger or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to equivalent protection continuing to apply.
International transfers
We are established in the United Arab Emirates, and the systems that support this website may be operated in other jurisdictions. Where personal information is transferred to a country that does not provide an equivalent standard of protection to that of the country in which you are located, we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection is applied to that transfer.
Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Correspondence is retained for as long as needed to deal with the matter it concerns and for a reasonable period afterwards to maintain a record of the exchange. Technical server records are retained for a short period for security and diagnostic purposes.
Where we are required by applicable law to retain information for a longer period, we do so, and we delete or anonymise information once the applicable period has expired.
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure and loss. Traffic to this website is encrypted in transit, and access to systems holding personal information is restricted to those who require it.
No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the contact form.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to have information erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive information you provided to us in a portable form.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in the final section. A request to have information erased can also be made through our data deletion request page. We may ask you for information sufficient to confirm your identity before we act on a request. We respond to requests within thirty days, and where a request is complex we will tell you if more time is required.
If you consider that we have not handled your personal information properly, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
Children
This website is directed at businesses and professional audiences. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
